 Cardstack is an open-source framework and consensus protocol that makes blockchains usable and scalable for the mass market, creating a decentralized software ecosystem that can challenge today's super-digital power.

The environment can be a corporate organization, open source social community, or technical. ecosystem metaphors are used to denote an analysis that considers some software systems. The most commonly performed analysis is the static source code analysis of the ecosystem component system.

The App Store era turns the software feature into a standard native app, which usually does not communicate with each other and requires users to choose between several overlapping features to shape their workflow. As the software moves into the cloud, users need to manage multiple subscriptions to cloud-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) and choose the right plan to optimize costs across all the required features.  The emergence of blockchain and decentralization (dApps) applications makes the situation difficult by asking users to acquire and manage utility token supplies for each function that creates their software piles.
